Everyone talks about how progressive overload is so important, and IT IS!

When you are training and you want to get serious results, you have to make sure you are constantly improving your workouts and challenging yourself!

⭐️ Progressive Overload simply means :

progressively , overloading : the weight and intensity of your lifts each week for each exercise (with emphasis on the compound lifts aka main heaviest lifts)

it’s important and beneficial to keep track of the weight you are doing and how many reps you achieve for each exercise weekly so you can have a visual record of your progress week by week!

Something to note ✍🏼

⭐️ just because you can’t lift heavier the next time does not mean you aren’t progressively overloading!

The GOAL is to yes, get stronger and eventually increase the weight : but good form and your safety is always MOST IMPORTANT!

⭐️ if you can move the weight better/smoother for more reps : you ARE making progress!

⭐️ if you can add elements like drop sets, burnouts, rest pause sets, supersets and increase reps/set efficiency : you ARE making progress
