IS THIS SEOUL'S BEST GINSENG CHICKEN SOUP? 🐓🍲🇰🇷

Tosokchon Samyetang is definitely Seoul’s most popular restaurant for ginseng chicken soup as seen from how the queues are! We queued without a reservation and the lines moved really fast because the restaurant is huge and food is served quickly as well (we love the traditional hanok-style setting). The menu is simple and comes down to whether you prefer black / original chicken, as well as whether you want wild ginseng in your soup. Prices range from 20,000 to 30,000+ Won (20-30 SGD) per meal.

Our verdict? It’s a 10/10!!! Everything tasted so good especially the rich soup and the tender whole chicken stuffed with glutinous rice and ginseng. The price is reasonable considering the large portions per set. We would definitely come back here the next time we crave for ginseng chicken soup in Seoul.
