huge & cosy underrated study/wfh spot in town 🤓

Looking for a place to study/work in town? Well, I’ve got you covered! If you haven’t already heard about this place, Twenty Eight Cafe is a study/work-friendly cafe right in the middle of town. 🤓

📍 Located within a 10 mins’ walk from Little India/Rochor/Bencoolen, this cafe is super convenient for those who wanna study with friends but want to stay in the central area. It’s also perfect for SMU students cos the campus is just a 10 mins’ walk away! 🚶🏻‍♀️

👉🏻 We visited the cafe on a weekday and it was pretty empty when we went around 9am. I love that the place is super spacious with many tables and seats available so you don’t have to worry about securing one! The aesthetics of the cafe are also on point, giving minimalist industrial vibes that’s perf for a wfh/study location.👌🏻

⚡️ Of course, what’s a study cafe without charging points? The charging ports are on the walls, for tables of two and four so if you’re coming with a larger group, you may have to split up. There are many charging spots all around though, so no worries bout running out of batt!

- Creamy Carbonara $18

- Beef Burger $23 💖

- Truffle Fries $12 💖

💭 The mains and drinks were pretty average, not the best cafe food I had but they were good for a hungry stomach. A special shout-out to the truffle fries though cos it’s the kind i LOVE - thick crispy cuts with hints of truffle smell. 🤤

If you’re in town and looking for a study spot, Twenty Eight Cafe is the place to go! Do note that they close pretty early at 430pm every day though so if you’re planning to work there, you won’t be able to stay till 6pm! 😮‍💨
