which street food should you queue for? 🤔

It’s my second time in Osaka but the first time since Covid so I was definitely excited to try all the Dotonbori street food again! Our hotel was within minutes’ walk from Dotonbori so we went out almost every night for some supper snacks! 🤪

If you’re at Dotonbori and wondering which queue to join, here’s my reviews for you! 🌟

🐙 Takoyaki

If you’ve been to Dotonbori, you’ll find that every tako stall will have a queue for it and that’s cos they’re good everywhere! We queued for the one near the bridge and it was pretty good! Super soft and flavourful, though I personally prefer the crispy kind 🥲

🍈 Melonpan

You can’t say you’ve been to Japan if you don’t try their melonpan! This soft fluffy bun with the crispy skin exterior is a must get! We topped up for the matcha ice cream and I must say, hot and cold foods do go well together 👍🏻

🥟 Gyoza

This gyoza franchise is everywhere in Japan! It’s not the best gyoza but definitely very cheap and satisfied my gyoza cravings 😋

🍤 Okonomiyaki

We went to an okonomiyaki restaurant, which sells takos for takeaway outside as well and I’d say if you’re a fan of takos, you’ll probably love this too!

🍓 Strawberries

I’ve always wanted to try the big juicy strawberries whenever we pass by the fruit stall so I decided to give it a try! It was #noragrets cos it was one of the sweetest strawberries I’ve had in my life (though I was never a big fan of strawberries and don’t usually eat them too) 🫣
