What to expect at Gwang Jang market?

This is the famous Gwang Jang Market that everyone will visit when they are in Korea, famous for their street food! 😋🤤 Not only do they sell street food, but there are also a lot of stores selling cloth, Hanbok, and souvenirs!😍

🗺️ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? 🧭

It’s kind of in the middle of two subway station, so it’s accessible by:

• 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗼 𝟱-𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟭, 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝟳/𝟴)

A 3 mins walk away, nearer to the main entrance. You will see a lot of food store right when you enter through the main entrance.

• 𝗘𝘂𝗹𝗷𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝟰-𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟮/𝟱, 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝟰)

A 5 mins walk away, slightly further, and it’s nearer to the back entrance. When you enter through the back entrance, you will see a lot of clothing stores as compared to food, just keep walking in and you will see the busy food stalls!

There are a lot of food stalls selling almost the same food, as you can just go to any store with the least people to buy! HAHAH

Some of the food you can find there🍽️:

Mungbean pancakes, Fish cake soup, Kimbap, Tteokbokki, Live octopus, Raw beef, Fried chicken, Fresh fruit juice✨

There are also a lot of korean snacks available there as well! For those who love freeze dried snacks, you can also find it there!! I got one whole big bag of freeze dried strawberries for only SGD10, super worth!!🍓💵 Should have gotten more🥺

Apart from all these, you can also find a lot of stores selling Hanbok, cloths, and many traditional Korean souvenirs. 🤩🤩

Most importantly, REMEMBER TO BRING CASH💵and eat till your tummy is happy!!!🤣
