HOW TO POSE FOR PICTURES ♡

Girllllll, I love taking pictures but sometimes I have absolutely no idea how to act when the camera is out 🧍🏼‍♀️

Here are my top tips/tricks for making your photos look effortless! Time to channel your inner model let’s GO 🫡

1. ACT LIKE THE CAMERA ISNT THERE:

This one is huuuge!! If you ever feel like you get awkward or embarrassed when the camera is out, girl pretend that thang ain’t even there. You’re simply in your own world 🌎

2. FOCUS ON THE OUTFIT:

Sometimes your pictures don’t always need to highlight YOU in them. Maybe you wanna show off your outfit, or the $37 coffee you ordered. Use the props and things around you to help you with your pictures! For me, I was wearing a cute matchy set but had nooo intentions of showing off my crusty and dusty face that morning HA - so showing off the outfit it was 🕺🏼

3. KEEP IT NATURAL:

Play around with the different angles, poses, and stances you do. Try playing with your outfit a little to make yourself more comfortable! It also gives purpose to the photo. I’m a ride or die pull up your pants pose girlie. It works every time 🤝 you can also try fluffing up your hair, messing with your jacket, or looking down at the floor while adjusting your outfit.

4. KEEP IT CANDID:

Spammm that photo button baby!!! And don’t stop moving! 💃🏽 When you take pictures on a continuous timer, it helps capture all the special moments, including the candid ones ♡ & keep it fun! Dance around and show off your energy through photos.

5. UTILIZE YOUR BACKGROUND:

We all love a good sunset moment or a lovely blue sky vibe. Use those as a starting point to your pictures!

6. BE CONFIDENT

You are a BADASS! - never forget it. I know we can all get shy and awk when the camera comes out, but instead you make that camera your b*! You’re a model, you’re hot, you’re gorgeous, you’re thriving, and the paparazzi are catching you in your moment (lmaooo)

7. PLAN FUN OUTFITS

we all know how a good outfit can make us feel 🥰🥰🥰 Pop on a fun fit and use that as your photo hack. Look good feel good amirite.

8. GET CREATIVE

nothing is off limits. Think outside the box! The flowers on your counter? Those could would perfect! Your plain white wall? Girlllll it’s an amazing backdrop! Throw on some color, match the colors in your photos, and boom you got yourself a photoshoot.

9. BE YOURSELF

be creative and express YOURSELF. Don’t copy what everyone else is doing to try and become relevant. People will love you and your content for YOU. So do what makes you happy, and that will attract the right people 🩷
