I tried the viral HAJI lane $5 photobooth

Hello lemons 🍋,

I’m sure you’ve seen this $5 photobooth from Haji lane all over lemon8, I gave it a try when I was nearby as well.

Here’s what I think 💭

- it’s cheap , only $5 for 2 strips , bet you can’t name me a cheaper photobooth than this 😱

- it’s more dark theme than the usual korean-style colourful background

- despite the background , the lighting is good nonetheless ( however if the camera isn’t flashing , pls let the staff know to fix it )

- the booth is small, max 3 people. 4 if you really squeeze I’d think. For bigger groups this isn’t for you 😩

- I don’t like that the camera doesn’t auto focus if you move around too much but the good thing is that the booth doesn’t count in “not in-focus” photo and will instruct you to retake & we had this issue consecutively for 5+ shots…. It then decides to focus when we left the booth to ask for staff help 😩😩 BUT then I discovered another pros hahaha

- it allows you to retake the entire photo without paying ! ( yay to room for errors woo ) , refer to the 4th photo , at the top right button you get take photo all over again ( but only do this when no one is waiting in queue because they did say we should only take max 10 min in the booth )

- payment can be made by paynow/paywave 😍 I always don’t have cash on me for these photobooths so that’s a plus for me

- photo sleeve were given after your photos are printed

Overall I had a great experience, I would 101% come back because it allows you to retake ?! & it’s only $5 ?! Take my money 💰.
