BADDIE ON A BUDGET 💋

hi loves! I’m thinking of starting this series for all my fellow baddies out there. I think it’s super important to talk about budgeting while still serving those looks every day (or maybe once a week if we’re being real) 🙃 hahaha

as women, we’re usually expected to look conventionally attractive, whether it’s at work, going out, running errands, etc. & while I don’t always LOOK like a baddie, I like to always FEEL like one. & by no means does this mean that we have to look “attractive” 24/7, being a baddie is a mindset. But here are some things I do to feel & look like a baddie without hurting my wallet too much 😽🧖🏻‍♀️💅🏻💄🤍

🪄 Make up - I absolutely love experimenting with different products & brands! But my absolute favorite that will always show up & show out when needed are Maybelline & Nyx Cosmetics!! I use Maybelline for my base - (foundation & concealer). They have great mascaras too! I use Nyx for setting spray & lipsticks/liners. A bonus is elf cosmetics!! They have a great primer & great options for your base.

🪄 Accessorizing - having my staples makes me feel like a baddie! Especially if I decide to go the no-makeup makeup route. I personally prefer gold, but silver can look so good too. I like having my hoops & layering some necklaces. You can get budget-friendly accessories from Amazon, Claire’s, Target, or any local store! Accessories & Jewelry make me feel so feminine in general, I love love love having them on. ✨💍

🪄 Eating at home - I don’t always want to do it, but every time I do, my future-self is super grateful lol. Splurging here and there happens, but if you’d rather spend that 💵 when you’re out, whether it’s on a drink or two, or an experience, then eat a yummy home-cooked meal an hour before you leave! It’s healthier too. & it’s necessary if you’re trying to have a *fun* night out 🥂💃🏻🤳

🪄 investing in staple pieces - personally, I love my rompers & dresses. They always look like you’ve put more effort into your appearance than you actually have 👀. Be an outfit repeater with style! I also like my two-piece sets - I feel & look so put together than I actually am lol. My favorite places to shop (especially when there’s a sale): Fashionnova, Pretty Little Thing, Amazon or I thrift!
