Montréal Weekend Trip🚘🇨🇦

Took a quick trip to Montrèal, Quebec a few weeks ago for my birthday trip! I fell in love with the city & would definitely go back. Although it was a bit chilly this time of year, the atmosphere was still cozy and the scenery was amazing. We were unable to take a tour of the Notre Dame Basilica but the outside was extraordinary! We ate at so many amazing places, but my favorite was Wienstein & Gavino’s. Fresh made pasta, delicious sauce, excellent service. Of course, we had to get some poutine - we went to Montreal Poutine! Their metro = insanely clean. Like spotless. Old Montréal is where all the beautiful architecture and cobblestone roads are.

The Le Nouvel Hotel was reasonably priced and within walking distance of the metro and some of the main city streets (Rue Crescent, Rue St Catherine). There is a convenient store across the street and a grocery store about a 10 minute walk away. They did have a restaurant and hotel bar, but we did not try it as there were so many other restaurants in the area to try!
