Date Idea: Aromatherapy Workshop for $39 ONLY! ✨

Hey Zesties, my best friends booked a sensory workshop for my birthday and this is how it went!

We arrived at the THANN Singapore Flagship outlet located at ION Orchard. For those who don’t know, THANN is a Thailand brand that uses aromatherapy and the science of natural ingredients to make skincare, fragrances and treatments to improve your total wellness. As someone who loves candles and scents, this is the perfect birthday gift!

For starters, the workshop consists of essential oils, rice bran oil and beeswax. Have you guessed what we are doing for the workshop? Yes, we are making our own custom blend of aromatherapy balm.

There are 6 different signature scents from THANN and these scents are also used commonly in hotels worldwide. We get to pick 3 of any to make our own, in any combination we like as long as it forms 15 drops (15ml). After lots of sniffing, I decided on my combination- Aromatic Wood, Eden Breeze and Earl Grey.

After dropping the essential oil into the rice bran oil, we mix in the beeswax and heat the mixture so that it’s all mixed well, before hardening them into our small container. You can apply it on your temples, wrist whenever needed.

Indeed, it’s a fun experience and a rather short one for anyone to enjoy. Difficulty level is also low, so no experience is needed prior to the workshop. I’ll definitely gift this as a birthday experience gift. Only drawback is that the space is rather limited, and it is already quite tight for 3 of us girls.
