🇯🇵I ALM GOT INTO A POLICE CASE FRM PARKING MY CAR😶😭

hello lovelies! so ive been posting lots of my japan & korea recommendations & itinerary, tdy let’s talk abt my driving experience in japan… that almost got me into a police case, not bc i crash the car or watsoever… 😳😳😳

so me & my boyf were driving ard 🗻 mount fuji, & we were visiting Cafe A. however, there was no parking space outside of cafe A so we had to park nearby.

there was a cafe nearby, Cafe B which had parking space, it was empty, so we decided to park our car thr. thn we headed to Cafe A.

once we were done eating at Cafe A, we head back to our car parked at Cafe B, only to realise our car was blocked by another car parked perpendicular to us. & there was a paper with some jap characters pasted on our car windshield. some of the jap characters resemble chinese words so i cld somehow unds…? it was probably saying smtg like cannot park ur car here or smtg 😶

at this point, we were like confused af, like wht was going on???? so my bf went in Cafe B to check on whats gg on while i was standing beside the car waiting for my bf.

while i was waiting, a japanese woman, with a STERN & FIERCE FACE 😠 walked towards me. she approached me & was probably scolding me in jap language & obv i cldnt unds. so i told her tht this is my car, i cant unds jap, can speak eng?

she said no, & cont scolding me in jap, BUT THIS TIME, i understood 1 word & IT WAS THE MOST CRUCIAL WORD “ POLICE “ 👮🏻 at this point, i was alr panicking like why sudd need call police??? omg wht shld i do????

just at this moment, my bf came out frm the cafe. he then communicated w the japanese woman using google translate. she was so insistent to call the police to settle 😵‍💫 she was saying like how we werent dining at her cafe but we parked here. & my boyf asked her if thr was any ways we cld make it up to her, maybe like buy some food frm her cafe? & SHE WAS LIKE NO, & called us BOTHERSOME 🥴

wah sibei stress alrd… im js a tourist on vacay man, why is she doing this to me 😭😭😭 my bf js kept apologising & eventually somehow she js ok & say nx time dont anyhow park.

thank god the whole thing didnt got escalated into a police case 🥹🙏🏻 this kinda traumatised me frm driving overseas… & maybe jap ppl are not nice as they seem 😅
