my yoga practice & journey 🧘🏻‍♀️💗

ive started yoga almost 2 years ago and it's really taught me that patience and consistency pays off in incredible ways 🙇🏻‍♀️

as the least sporty person ⚽️🏄‍♀️ ever, i fell into yoga out of curiosity! i looked up yoga studios around me and found a studio with walkable distance from my place🏡

i clearly remember that it was a vinyasa class, in a much faster 💨 pace than what i had in mind. someway along in that hour of practice i felt really in awe 😯 that despite everyone being in different points of their practice, they were all giving their best to the flow. (made me feel really small as a newbie but also helped to gather some determination to be better haha)

health benefits that i've actually felt since i've started (with consistency!)

- increased flexibility

- increased metabolism (weight loss YAY!!)

- tone(r) muscles!!!!!

- more energy ⚡️⚡️

- actually less stressed after the sessions 🧖🏻‍♀️

these are the more obvious ones but definitely way more as well (like not needing massages anymore = saving $$ hehe) it's so exhilarating to see growth when you start being able to achieve more advanced poses that tests your strength (lotsa core 🥵🥵) and flexibility!!!

i've tried a ton of other activities and found that yoga is always something i return to for respite 💗. this is also a sign for you to #LoveMyself if you're planning to take a plunge into something new 😄🌸
