why I’m never going back to a 9-5

💻 After getting laid off at the beginning of this year, I think it’s time for me to “officially” decide to not go back to a 9-5 job. Here’s why.

🗓️First of all, the flexible schedule that I create for myself is unbeatable! I love the ability to go to the gym in the middle of the day if I want or go to a doctor's appointment without feeling guilty. I can also take a random tuesday off if I want and the fact that I don't have to ask “permission” to travel and see the world is the most invaluable thing I can ask for. This flexibility alone has made me really not have any desire to go back to a 9-5.

💕 Truly, I have never been happier. A 9-5 corporate job really was a major source of stress and anxiety for me. So the fact that I no longer have to have anxiety about 1:1 meetings with my manager, presenting projects, or in general working in a toxic work environment is a game changer for me.

💸My income potential is limitless - meaning that whatever work I put into my business as a YouTuber and content creator is what i will get out of it. I love that I have a direct impact on people and can actually see how I am impacting peoples’ lives with this career.

I truly cannot imagine going back to a 9-5 and honestly, don’t intend to!
