are these products worth it? ✨

so many skincare products go viral on social media, and i was lucky enough to try some of them to see if they’re really worth the hype. to start off, i have oily acne-prone skin :)

💦 mediheal madecassoside blemish pads

YES! i love these toner pads to help soothe my skin from breakouts. the calming properties feel so nice whenever i’m having inflammation concerns, and i like to use these everyday so it’s a nice fresh start in my morning routine. this tub is probably the 3rd one i’ve opened and i’m already starting to run out.. AGAIN

🫧 anua heartleaf 77 toner

MAYBE! halfway through this bottle i liked the product because it’s very watery and lightweight. it added that nice layer of hydration and it felt pretty decent on the skin, but at some point in trying to actually finish the bottle the whole way, i started to get bored of it. it really isn’t anything special in my opinion so towards the end of me using up this product, i felt pretty neutral towards it. i probably won’t repurchase this toner myself

💛 cocokind ceramide barrier serum

YES! another skin barrier repair and strengthening product, this was one of the first products i started using/taking skincare seriously. it has yet to fail me as it’s quite soothing and gentle enough when my skin is sensitive due to a breakout. it’s not sticky or greasy and absorbs nicely into the skin

🍉 glow recipe niacinamide dew drops

YES! definitely a little bit on the pricier side, their products are gentle and leave a nice dewy finish on the skin. my skin also loves niacinamide so the way this performs for me has been ideal in treating my dark spots and managing my oil production. this also has a slight watermelon scent to it which i love, but that’s important to specify as others may stray away from fragrances

☁️ dr. althea 345 blemish cream

YES! this cream is so nourishing, giving me that soft-feeling skin whenever i’m dealing with breakouts or dry patches. not exactly meant to treat acne directly, but it’s great at managing your skin barrier whenever your breakouts tend to ruin it and get you feeling sensitive or irritated
