Varicose Veins in my 20s! 🌸🌸

I have struggled with Varicose veins since my first pregnancy when I was 23 and they have slowly began to get worse especially with my last pregnancy. They made me so insecure about my legs and just hated them.

✨ I had my first round of Catheter-based procedure using radiofrequency (laser) energy. They puts a thin tube called a catheter into an enlarged vein. Radiofrequency or laser energy heats the tip of the catheter. As the catheter is taken out, the heat destroys the vein by causing it to cave in and seal shut.

✨ I was awake during the procedure they did administer local anesthesia for the pain as they worked. They ended up on into my left leg at 14 different places and had to stitch them all closed. My leg is all bruised up but it’s already looking much better than before.
