Hygge home

Hygge is a Danish word that expresses a feeling of coziness, contentment, and well-being.

Some things I do to being a little hygge to my home:

• leave cozy blankets and pillows out

• decorate with plants to bring life into the space

• leave books out to look at and access

• neutral colors to not become overstimulated

• soft lighting (lamps)

• light instrumental music in the background

• have candles or diffusers going with non-toxic ingredients
