1. nex library

one of my new faves because there is a room with seats that cannot be booked! its quite small though so u have to go at 11am sharp on school holidays etc!! 🥲 but people are always open to share the seats :):) has power plugs around also so its good

2. bishan cc study room

⏰10.30am-9pm

limited seats but there is a starbucks downstairs and junction 8 & bishan lib opposite! heard that its generally quite empty but i went on a crowded day LOL (and it was kinda noisy when i was there because once one group started talking a lot of them started…) there’s power plugs at quite a few of the seats but not a lot so come early to chope a seat if uw~

3. kinex basement

not v sure what time it opens and closes! its a bit like a food court but there are many seats around and its not really noisy unless you go on a weekend evening kind! (ngl my friends created most of the noise when i was thr so…) and u don’t have to buy food to stay there but its good if u do LOL not superr quiet but its ok and bearable to me!

4. ny cafe

📍8 sin ming road #01 -03 s575628 (5 min walk frm upper thomson mrt)

⏰weds-fri 11am-9pm, sat & sun 9am-9pm, mon & tues closed

one of my favs now!!! staff are super friendly and the food is affordable! also has plugs around a lot of the seats and the vibes there are sooo nice!! food is also good!! has free wifi also 💻 i went there on a public holiday and it wasn’t really crowded!
