Best outdoor spots in Arizona! 🌵

Traveling through Arizona anytime soon? Here are some of my favorite outdoorsy spots I found while living in Scottsdale!

• Obviously Sedona is one of the bigger, more famous spots. But be sure to add a hike to the Devil’s Bridge to your itinerary while you’re visiting! There’s a company that operates daily Jeep tours to drop you off closer to the bridge. (Still have to hike a little bit from there.) Or if you’re feeling a good workout, you can walk/hike the whole way!

• Lake Havasu is also a huge tourist destination for spring break and summer time but if you get a chance to visit in the off season, it can be really peaceful and relaxing. Also super fun to visit during the high traffic times too if you enjoy a party crowd!

• Fossil Creek was one of my absolute favorite spots. There are several parking lots at different distances so you can decide how far you want to hike to get there. The water is crystal clear in most spots and the perfect temperature to jump right in. The first Fossil Creek picture is of me about to go down a natural slide in the rock. The second picture is of my friends and me swimming in a whirlpool! There’s also lots of waterfalls that you can swim under too!

• The Mogollon Rim in Payson, AZ is a really great spot for camping! Most camping areas are very inexpensive and you can stay lower down near the lake or pick a spot up higher to have a beautiful view from your campsite.

I, surprisingly, never visited the Grand Canyon while I was living there or else that might be on the list.
