Recently, my family and I celebrated my grandmother's birthday at Peach Blossoms🍑, a Cantonese cuisine restaurant with a modern Chinese aesthetic. Oh yes and they're currently offering a 15% discount off your total bill for UOB cardholders until the end of the year! So be sure to use your UOB card 💳 to save some money on your bill!

The restaurant was quite spacious and beautifully decorated. I had reserved a table a few weeks in advance using their online reservation link, which made the process very easy. Reservation Link!!

Now onto the food! All dishes come in a single size, perfect for 2-4 people. We started off with the Deep-fried prawn 🍤🥭 coated with Mango and Yuzu Sauce ($30) , which was absolutely delicious and one of my favorites of the night. The prawns were juicy and the sauce was unique and not too sweet.

Next, we ordered the Pork Collar 🐖 with Asparagus and Mushroom ($40) and the Celtuce Stems and Lotus Root stuffed with Minced Shrimp Paste ($28). While both dishes were alright, the lotus root was quite unique and the shrimp paste coating was a great combination.

The Deep-fried Eggplant 🍆, stuffed with Shrimp Paste in Black Bean Sauce ($28) was also quite tasty, similar to a Yong Tau Foo dish, and the eggplant wasn't too oily.

For our main dish, we had the Fried Fragrant Pearl Rice with Snow Crab Meat 🦀 and Diced Abalone with Egg White ($48), and it was definitely worth the price! The portions of meat were generous and the flavors were exceptional. Although I forgot to snap a picture of it, the staff was kind enough to help us portion it into bowls. I highly RECOMMEND this dish if you are going to Peach Blossoms👌🏼!!

As for desserts, since we were quite full, we wanted to get the smaller portioned desserts. We ordered the Chrysanthemum Jelly served with Lychee Oolong Ice Cream ($18), Mango Purée served with Coconut Kaffir Lime ($16), and Pink Guava with Sago served on a Dragon Fruit ($16). However, I found them to be quite average, so I would recommend trying other desserts instead. 😐

Overall, Peach Blossoms provided a great dining experience, although I was a bit disappointed that they didn't do something special for my grandmother's birthday even though I had indicated it in the online reservation. Do rmb to bring your UOB credit/debit card as well to get that 15% discount! 💸
