WE WENT TO SEE NORTH KOREA 🇰🇵

Was reluctant to go at first, but my friend dragged me to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) Tour!

🚍~> The Tour started at Hongik Univ. Station where a shuttle bus picked us, and brought to a place near the DMZ.

🏙️ ~> Arrived at DMZ! We were presented with facinating monuments from the Korean War.

🇰🇵 ~> Next stop was at an observatory where we were fortunate enough to peep at some North Koreans on the paddy fields. Try to spot them! The soldiers were also tolerable enough to snap some pictures 😂

👷‍♀️ ~> Right after we went to the DMZ Museum, before entering the Tunnels, which were passages that North Koreans dug up during the war to invade the South (sadly i could not take pictures).

🌉 ~> Lastly, we were graced with the (famous) suspension bridge to end the tour! V instagrammable place (twas v high up and I was scared to death).

💭 Thoughts: Not a fan of tours but i was glad i came for this, rlly no regrets! And a defo must-go if you are in Korea. I feel like you truly grasp more of their culture and history of the North and South.
