Unless you do this! When you think bangkok you think about Jodd fairs, Chatuchak, traffic jams, cute cafes etc. After going to bangkok for so many times i decided to unlock bangkok in a whole new way - read on for hidden gems and tips you might not know about!

📍Wang Lang Market

- whats better than to visit the markets that local visit. Authentic local food with a flavour of true local culture. Recommend to come in the morning.

- Must try: Wang Lang bakery (local flavours for bread), ja pang ice cream (ice cream sandwich is to die for!!!) and wang lang fried pork (interesting texture of meat coated with delicious source)

- Whats better is that the market is just a short ferry ride away from iconsiam, wat arun etc, making it the perfect quick food getaway for local food

📍Khlong Lat Mayom floating market

- Not a true true floating market as compared to its counterparts such as Amphawa. But there is a huge variety of food and extends all the way to about 5 zones.

- Tip: theres is a free shuttle bus from Bang Khun Non MRT on weekends(at specific frequency)

- Do also drop by at Mae Klong Seafood (Michelin star!!) and Rolling Roasters nearby before you leave.

📍Silom Thai cooking school

- love the concept of learning how to cook local food, and being able to taste it straight afterwards

- Totally fuss free experience. But bear in mind to not eat anything beforehand or you will be stuffed!!!

📍water taxis

- theres not just grab, bolt, or buses. Theres water taxi too!! Try taking one at pratunam pier, it brings you to some of your intended destination really quick as it avoids the heavy traffic on road.

- But bear in mind, the water isnt very clean. Sometimes when the ferry is very fast it actly sprays water on you, so try to avoid standing in the open area of the ferry.

📍Wat Arun ❌ restauraunts opposite Wat Arun ❗️

- wat arun is no doubt a favourite place for tourist to take photos in pretty thai outfits. But the heat during the day is unbearable as well!!

- So i therefore recommend to visit the restaurants opposite wat arun after sunset (scroll to the last pic for recommendations) You will get to see a Wat Arun you nvr know, and honestly, i think its even prettier than the Eiffel Tower.

- Do rmb to make a reservation at least one month in advance!
