I am a firm believer that your front door is the first impression your home gives to guests and passersby. So what’s it gonna be? A warm hello and welcome, or a cold and distant approach.

I love giving my front door seasonal upgrades and a refresh every few months. Today I just swapped out my wreath and mat and brought a welcoming autumn feel. My summer plants are still thriving so I opted to add a pumpkin stack rather than remove the vines so soon. All together it’s a festive and cozy front porch that welcomes all who see it!

My best tip yet, invest in a quality, yet timeless wreath you love! The more you use it, the more bang for your buck. Each year I pull some stems out or add some in. It helps the wreath look fresh but keeps me on budget.

As for doormats, they are cheap and easy at target! Typically running about $13, a new doormat can pull seasonal decor together and act as the perfect cherry on top!
