Do’s & Don’ts of Traveling to Italy: Part 1🇮🇹🚫✈️✨

After traveling to Italy (soon to be 3 times), I have found there are SO MANY mistakes tourist seem to make. Here is a series to get you prepared for your future trip to Italy. 👇🏽Italy

Part 1:

#1 DON’T: Asking for an Iced Coffee

Instead ask for a Caffè shakerato: a shaken iced coffee.

#2 DON’T: Ask If An Italian Has a Family Member in The Mafia.

This may seem like a bizarre concept, but unfortunately there are tourists that ask this. It is considered very offensive and insulting. The mafia is not seen as a joke as it is perceived in American films.

#3 DO: Remember to Validate Your Train Ticket

If you forget, and the train security checks your ticket you could be fined 50€ + per person! There are validation stations before you enter the queue.
