the most tropical matcha you’ll ever have | 😺☕

After Maiko Matcha, I haven’t been able to find a matcha cafe that comes close to their level of quality matcha lattes, but wow…stumbling across Pixlcat Coffee was one of the most wonderful food discovery I had in July! Their 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 ($5.5), which is essentially matcha latte (with your choice of milk) with guava syrup…

THIS 👏 WAS 👏 SO 👏 DELICIOUS!! The syrup offered the pefect sweetness, but that added layer of delicate fruitiness was just…amazing 😌

Our group also got the regular 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲, their 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯 𝗱𝗼𝗽𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲, and 𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 (espresso with condensed milk & special tiger syrup!)

We also ordered an assortment of mochi muffins: the 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 one, 𝘂𝗯𝗲 one, and two savory 𝗵𝗮𝗺 & 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 mochi muffins! The sweet ones were a bit too sweet (how asian of us lol), but the savory ones were perfect!

This was just such a lovely spot to chill and hang out, a must visit if you’re a fan of matcha! 🍵
