Today we have the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in the shade 001-Pink and the NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Vegan Lip Oil in the shade Missed Call. Dior retails at $40.00 (Ulta) for 0.2 oz and NYX retails at $9.00 (Ulta) for 0.16 oz. For the Dior you’re paying quadruple the price of the NYX for about 0.04 oz more, but in this case, you’re paying for the name more so than the actual product.
The NYX has more of a pink shade with the Dior being more sheer. Definitely depends on the mood and/or look I am going for so I don’t have a preference for color.
They both glide on really smooth and feel really hydrated. The wands are also similar, the Dior being slightly bigger but both larger than normal wands allow one swipe application.
Overall, they both provide long wear hydration and a nice tint. Get the Dior for the name and packaging, but if you’re looking to save some coin get the NYX for almost the same thing.
