Since South Korea is not the most budget friendly destination, here’s a few things that will help you to travel this beautiful country for $50 a day.

Transportation 🚇

I used the subway to travel around Seoul and I was paying 💰Price: around $1 per ride. You can also take the bus for 💰Price: $3 a ride.

I recommend the subway since it’s faster and cheaper.

Accommodation 🏨

If you want to be super close to the city center, you need to stay in a hostel to stick to the budget. You can find cheap dorms for around 💰Price:$20 a night.

I stayed at a hotel called Hotel RU136, that was 35 minutes from the center for 💰Price:$28 a night. Highly recommended this hotel, specifically because the room was so modern and with an amazing view.

Food 🍱

There’s many ways to spend around 💰Price:$4-6 per meal. I ate at street markets, shopping malls and at 7eleven. These options are the best to save money on food.

Attractions 🏯

There’s so many things to do for free, so you should prioritize them. I also recommend checking what museums are free on Sundays and Fridays, since there’s a few like the National Museum of Korea.

Another lovely activity that you can do for cheap is to rent a bike for around 💰Price:$3 and explore the city or a park.
