In Vietnam, you need to pay close attention when you’re crossing the road or walking near the cars. The traffic is insane, and they don’t stop for you, even when you’re at the crosswalk. My advice is to wait until it is safe to pass and move fast.

Be Rain Ready ☔️

Even when it is hot and the sun is out, the rain can start at any minute. I recommend packing a rain jacket and bringing an umbrella, as you’re most likely going to need it.

Try The Local Food 🍲

Don’t eat only at fancy restaurants; you need to try the local food. Street food places in Vietnam might not be the most aesthetic, but the food is delicious. I recommend trying the Goi Cuon and Cao Lau.
