STAY HERE IN GUATEMALA CITY 🇬🇹

I had stopped in Guatemala City for a night before heading over to Monterrico Beach and choose the Hyatt Centric Guatemala City because it was so close to the airport but ended up being one of the prettiest Hyatt hotels I’ve stayed at!

Here are the highlights:

THE ROOM: For about $160 a night, I felt like this was a steal as they really made the room feel upscale with the Guatemalan inspired decor. It’s as if I’m staying at a boutique hotel and not a chain.

THE FOOD: The food really surprised me because I was expecting average hotel food. We had 3 meals here - lunch, an all you can eat dinner and breakfast and loved every meal. The buffet had so many choices and all the food was freshly cooked. There was also a coffee bar that can whip me up any drinks I wanted when I needed a caffeine refuel.

THE AMENITIES: My favorite part of the hotel. The pool wasn’t huge but a good enough size and overlooks the skyline alone with the volcanoes in a distance. They provided towels and had plenty of seats to lounge.

The staff was helpful and I felt safe staying in this area!
