How I plan to balance motherhood & nursing school🩺

This mama will be starting nursing school very soon! One of my biggest concerns with starting nursing school was how I was going to manage giving all of my attention to my daughter while also needing to give all my attention to nursing school.

Despite my doubt. I still applied & got accepted into nursing school & i’ve come up with an entire game plan! If you are a mom & thinking about going to nursing school, just got accepted into nursing school, or if you’re in school period I hope that this helps you as well!

One of the things that I plan to do is go to school at night. I honestly am dreading this SOOO much. However, since my daughters fathers works during the day i’ll be able to stay with my daughter all day until he gets home from work & then i’ll be going to school. This way, I am still able to spend quality time with her while also going to school. I also don’t go into school everyday which is a plus!

Plan plan plan! I am going to get a white board so that i’ll be able to mark down everything that is important for school. Exams, homework, etc. This way I can make a plan of attack for how to get everything that I need done & also, this will help me plan out time for spend just strictly with my daughter.

I know how hard it is to be a mother & go to school! I have been in school since before I had my daughter. So I also know that being a mother in NURSING SCHOOL will NOT be easy but it also isn’t impossible. If you are a mom in school or a mom that wants to go back to school but is a little scared, you got this!!! ❤️
