if you’re looking for high protein breakfast ideas to add to your rotation, look no further! this post is for you😌 these are three of my personal favorites:
1. Blueberry vanilla oats:
1/2 cup of oats or a flavored oatmeal packet (I used maple brown sugar!)
1 cup of water or milk
Toppings of choice (I used granola, smooth peanut butter, fresh blueberries, and vanilla greek yogurt)
Cook your oats with a pinch of salt for extra flavor, then top with your favorite toppings! Mix and enjoy!
2. Bacon & egg plate:
eggs
Bacon or turkey bacon
Bread of choice
Butter
Olive oil
Cook your eggs in olive oil, then cook bacon after eggs are done. Toast your bread and butter it before serving with other components! Doesn’t get easier than that
3. Berry smoothie bowl:
Frozen berries
Water or milk (double the amount of berries)
Vanilla protein powder or greek yogurt
Toppings of choice (I used granola, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and fresh strawberries)
Blend your berries, powder, and liquid. Start with less liquid and add as you need to get the best consistency! Then add your toppings and enjoy!
Pro tip: pop your bowl in the freezer for a few minutes before adding toppings to fix a runnier consistency!
