trying to make your own jewellery?

Hi guys! As we all attempt to #Adulting101 , I’m sure we’ve wanted to try out a new hobby or pursue an interest… and if yours is making jewellery, I’m here to help you with the basics!

Here’s the few items you should get besides your wires, beads and strings!

1) jump rings

This can be super useful to help dangle charms or to separate beads. They can even help connect to wires together. They can be twisted open and close using pliers! I always use them to dangle my charms on my bracelets.

2) another hook thing ( look at picture above! )

this is for when you want to dangle them a bit lower, which can help create dimension to your jewellery and give it that effect you’re looking after!

3) chain!

when starting to make jewellery, it’s best to use wires/elastics! But using chains can make your bracelets adjustable. Just twist your wire around a small piece of chain!

4) hooks!

Using hooks are a lot better than just tying up your bracelets! It’s easier to tie plus it makes your jewellery more durable!

look out for these items as you begin shopping for your new interest!! Don’t just look at beads HAHA, I hope this helps those who are interested in making their own jewellery!
