Everything here is what I have for my home birth/free birth! The only thing I don’t have pictured is big towels, receiving blankets, and a baby scale!

I’m 38 weeks now and so excited to finally have all my supplies and have them organized!

Items I have and what they’re for-

Gallon ziplock bags: I will use this to store my placenta.

Black trash bags: to throw away all the under pads and any other trash.

Hydrogen peroxide: gets out blood incase any gets on rugs/carpet.

Measuring tape: measure babies head and length.

Cord clamp: to clamp the umbilical cord.

Bulb: I have this as a just incase if baby is having trouble crying after birth.

Cord cutter/scissors: to cut the umbilical cord.

Overnight and large pads: I will use these after the first few days when bleeding slows down.

Period underwear: I like these when I’m still bleeding more but not as heavy and right after birth.

Extra long pads: I will use these with the mesh underwear right after birth when bleeding is heaviest.

Mesh underwear: as a comfortable underwear option that I can throw away in the first few days.

Peri bottle: I use this after going to the bathroom for the first weeks when you don’t want to wipe.

Waterproof sheets: this is to lay down on the carpet and rugs or bed underneath the pads as extra protection.

Under pads: to lay down where I will be pushing or to follow me around if my water breaks.
