A big bump doesn’t automatically mean a big baby! Especially if it isn’t your first pregnancy.

A big bump is more likely a reflection of weaker abdominal muscles or a shorter abdomen! It can also be a sign of benign growths in your uterus.

While they usually develop prior to pregnancy, many women don’t even know about these harmless muscular tumors, called fibroids, until they’ve had their first ultrasound.

So if you feel like you have a bigger bump than previously, it doesn’t mean you’ll have a bigger baby! And when people say “you look like you’re having twins!” don’t listen to them!
