If you have a cat, you may be at risk of this!!

During the first day of Chinese New Year, I noticed an itchiness on my waist, but I didn't pay much attention to it since it was just a red ring at first. After a few days, it became bigger and developed white scaling on it, and similar ring-shaped patches appeared on my face.

I sought consultation from a skin specialist and found out that this is probably ringworm. We concluded that I may have contracted this infection during my trip to Brunei, where I sat on a wooden bench in a jungle while wearing a crop top, allowing my bare skin to come into direct contact with it.

Ringworm is a type of fungal infection. People who have close contact with infected animals, such as dogs and cats, are more likely to get ringworm.
