FINISHING MY 1st RUNDISNEY CHALLENGE

The Springtime Surprise challenge wasn’t actually my first challenge - for a few reasons…

First of all, I’m going to be really cliché and say that my first challenge was actually just STARTING to run. I bought all of my gear for running in March 2022. And then I tried to bullshit my way out of it and delayed until August 2022 to really START. I actually am SO ANGRY with myself that I didn’t just start, instead of worrying if I could do it.

My second challenge was actually RUNNING my first full Disney Race - which was the 5k at Wine & Dine 2022. I was super proud of that first medal that I felt I earned.

.

My third challenge was in January, when I ran the 10k, and then the Half Marathon the next day. To be fair, that was the exact same mileage that I ran in the Springtime Surprise challenge, but in 2 days vs 3 days. In many ways, the January races were my toughest yet.

.

But, officially, and according to @rundisney , I completed my first “CHALLENGE” this past weekend - and I have the extra medal to prove it. 🏅
