How to apply press ons that last 2 weeks!

Press on nails have LITERALLY changed my life!! I’m now free of having to: make a trip to the nail salon, deal with less than great customer service, spend hundreds of dollars on a set, the possibility of unsanitary practices, wait in long lines for my turn, ect THE LIST GOES ON!

Here’s I do it:

Step 1

Push your cuticles back

Step 2

File away the dead skin on your nails and remove the shine from your nail bed by gently filing it back-and-forth. (I recommend using a nail drill because it’ll be much faster and easier if you don’t know how to use one learn ASAP)

Step 3

Dehydrate your nails with a nail dehydrator or by putting 100% acetone in a cotton pad and wiping your nails (I forgot to add that in the video.)

IMPORTANT‼️: by this time there shouldn’t be any dead skin or oils of any kind on your nails that will cause the nails to lift.

Step 4

Pre-size all of your nails before you glue anything down. Make sure you have a nail for every finger and they fit your nails perfectly from edge to edge

Step 5

Put 1-2 drops of glue on the bottom of the press on nail (this depends on the size of your nail beds i.e. 2 drops for thumbs & 1 drop for every other nail if you have normal to small nail beds)

Step 6

Place the press on nail right in front of your cuticle, and slowly lay the nail down to let the glue spread forward on your nails. be very firm when laying it down.

Step 7

hold the press on nail down for 20 to 30 seconds firmly, to make sure the glue dries.

Step 8

This is a personal preference you can file re-shape or cut down your nails. I’ve personally don’t like long nails, so I always cut them down and re-shape them.

Step 9

Apply to cuticle oil

This should take you about 20 minutes from start to finish and then BOOM you got a fresh set that’s going to last one to two weeks!!
