NOT encouraging anyone to get any nose surgery done but sharing my experience c: if you’re someone like me who has been wanting to get a rhinoplasty done for yeaaarrrrssss and has the ‘Ill do whatever I want’ mindset, I hope what I share can help yall be more informed or learn a little something ✌🏻

I have been very conscious on my nose since I was 13-14 🥹 At age 17-18, I did my first non surgical nose threads BUT it does not last long. A year at max. In total, I did nose threads 3 times before I decided to just get my surgery done.

I was spending around $1k+ per session for something that last a few months 🤡 I did it a total of 3 times so that’s alr $3k+. Some clinics charge more on the number of threads you do (more threads, higher nose bridge, higher cost)

My rhinoplasty costed me less than $4k for something more permanent, so yall can do some simple maths 😅 the surgery is more worth it.

BUT you NEED to do MORE research on the doctor and clinic before you decide on proceeding with the surgery. you’ll also need to consider the downtime - bruising, swelling, stitch removal 7 days post op, etc

Also, if you have done nose threads before, although it last a few months only, there will always be some residue of the threads. You MUST tell your doctor during your rhinoplasty consultation and removal of the threads during surgery may incur additional cost (unless your clinic and doc is so nice to do it for you at no additional cost)

As mentioned in my previous nose post, I asked for a more straight shape but natural nose. I used a 3.5mm silicon for my bridge and my ear cartilage for my tip. Although I do find my tip now to be abit too pointy but I am satisfied after seeing many many other people with failed nose jobs. Also, most people cant tell I’ve done my nose without me telling them so I guess that’s how natural it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am a year post ops now and so far I do not have any regrets 😎

UPDATE:

I’ve been getting ALOT of DMs regarding rhinoplasty but I am unable to reply as lemon8 does not allow too many attempts to reply to DMs 🥹 drop me a DM on IG @/ Hyeyu.jang (maybe a follow too 😉), I can reply to multiple messages there!
