No curtains, no solar films, no problem!

Our service yard gets waaaay too much sun, to the extent that our fridge, washing machine and cabinets become super HOT in the morning 🔥

To prevent anything from getting fried, we had to quickly find a solution!

💭 Our contractor advised against installing motorised blinds for our kitchen windows, because the blinds may be more susceptible to damage if we cook often.

💭 We also ruled out the application of solar films, as we didn’t want to have any adhesive residue left on our windows should we remove the solar films in future.

💡 So what gave us an idea was the car sunshade! Did a search on Shopee and we decided to try out Sunshade Roller Blinds.

There are 3 colours available — black, silver, silver block 99% — and we got ours in silver block 99% (hehe because it’s the most chio).

Installation was easy and straightforward, as it only requires the usage of suction cups. No mess! And so far the blinds have been holding up well 👍🏻

Sun blockage is around 80% as sunlight can still seep through the gaps around the roller blinds, but we are fine with that 😊
