SPEND THE DAY WITH ME AS I RECHARGE

I’ve been feeling very overworked lately, and I’ve been missing softer moments.

Spending my Sunday operating within my own pace/flow and not looking to follow any plans or work today.

Started off the day getting my favorite breakfast, in typical Jersey girl fashion - ordered a taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a roll. And to drink, a small drip coffee with cream and sugar. Love.

I went apple picking the other day, so I have a ton of apples in my house that needs tending to before they go bad. I decided to go to Walmart + Shoprite to purchase items that I was missing to bake different recipes.

Today, I’m trying this recipe I found on TikTok called Cinnamon Apple Blondies.

While I was out, I listened to this podcast called “The Glow Up Secrets” and really enjoyed it! It was the first time I listened to it, and the host Elicia Goguen does a tremendous job of talking all things femme. Made me feel that much closer to my soft feminine side.

After today, I plan on allocating atleast 1x day/month to myself. It’s vital for my mental health and joy to pour into myself as much as I pour into others and things. And today was a great small step in that direction!
