Day Trip to Mt Fuji 🗻

POV: Did you really go to Japan for the fifth time without visiting Mt. Fuji?

We were initially deliberating between taking the public transport or going on a one day tour via Klook.

Finally decided on the latter due to time constraint.

The tour name is: Mount Fuji Sightseeing One Day Tour from Tokyo on Klook. We chose the date 12 Nov, 23 which fell on a Sunday. One mistake we failed to do was check the weather forecast for the booked tour date but praise God despite the gloomy and rainy morning upon arrival to Mount Fuji we were able to see its tip nevertheless.

The tour bus/guide led us to Oishi Park where saw Mount Fuji across Lake Kawaguchiko. Definitely an Instagram worthy location. They also had souvenir shops and a small cafe where you can enjoy soft serve ice cream🍦

Next stop was the Arakurayama Sengen Park 🚍🍂🍁

The park begins at the base of Mt. Arakurayama and extends up the mountain. At the top of a 398 stair hike is an observation deck that looks out over the cityscape of Fujiyoshida City and majestic Mt. Fuji towering above.

⚠️ I made the mistake of wearing my newly purchased boots which did its purpose for most part of the photo taking but definitely was not walk/hike friendly.

Mount Fuji is beautiful in photos but it is more amazing when you get to see it up close with your own eyes!
