My Travel Must Haves for Long-haul Flights ✈️🦋

As I get older, it's becoming more and more difficult to stay comfortable in an airplane for any more than 6 hours (but I love traveling so much!) so coming with these simple essentials always helps ease traveling for long periods of time. I used to never get why people had to walk around planes a lot but I'm starting to and I'm only 31 😆

1. Basic skincare. I can usually last a longhaul flight without having to refresh my skincare routine - if I feel the need to I do it in the airport, but I always have some type of face mist, some balm or handcream, and lipbalm.

2. Neck pillow. I use a TRTL which is super great to have for getting some decent sleep without falling over or straining your neck. Mine came with its own little bag which is great because I'm a germaphobe and... even if you're not, I don't know how other people let their neck pillows dangle at the back of their backpacks..... 🙃

3. Cords with older connections - e.g. earphones with auxiliary jack and iPhone cord with USB A.

4. Sleep mask. So important if you really need to get some sleep but the person in front of you is watching TV the entire flight.

5. Earplugs. For when you want some peace and quiet.

6. My own snacks. I make it a point to come prepared with snacks that hit all the flavor profiles - sweet, salty, sour. So some chocolate, sour gummies or fruit, and maybe pretzels or chips.

7. Cover-up or jacket to stay cozy, especially if blankets aren’t provided.

8. An empty tote bag. I usually have a large personal item which makes grabbing things mid-flight not ideal. So I keep a tote bag to transfer all my long haul flight essentials handy!
