WAKE UP POOKIES, IT’S SPOOKY SEASON! 👻🍂

To celebrate one of my fave seasons (and also to make sure I wasn’t bored out of my MIND on a plane ride…), I picked up ‘Hell House’ by Richard Matheson!

Going into this, I wasn’t sure what to expect past the general “creepy haunted house” theme, but WOW! This book was insane. I’m a huge horror movie fan, but never really dove into horror books, and the imagery produced in this book is completely t e r r i f y i n g. I truly couldn’t put this book down once I started. The first 50 pages are a bit slow, but as the story picks up, it realllyyyy picks up. After I finished this book (at 1am), I was truly scared to turn my lights off. For those looking for a mind-bending, horrifying, spooky read, give this one a try!
