I recently had the opportunity to try Hey Slow Joe which is a quaint, quiet cafe located just a 5 Minutes Walk from Boon Keng/Farrer Park MRT 🚆 & here’s my honest review abt it! Swipe to last page for menu (with prices)

Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall ambience v chill would be good to study/read because its a small, quiet space 📕 Didn’t see any plugs around so do come here with ur devices CHARGED 🔌 Additionally, seating is quite limited so try to come early or in smaller paxes (1-3)❗️

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff were super friendly & let me stay for > 3hrs even though i had already finished my food & drinks 😅 Also vv patient and gave me recommendations on what to get 🌷

Food:

☕️ Iced White ($7.80) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💭 Serve reallt strong coffee & get to choose the option of which beans you want (I got the chocolatey nutty one) & the ratio of coffee to milk was perfect 💯 Coffee was not too overpowering but still strong enough 👍🏻

🍰 Banana Walnut Cake ($5.50) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💭 Slice of cake was decently portioned for price & cake was warmed up bfr they served so it was SO SOFTT and moist YUM

On top of these they also have daily SPECIALS (Slide 3). What caught my eye was their Yogurt bowl with DEARBORN granola 🤤 (really wanted to try this but i wasn’t too hungry). They also have savoury pies (chicken pie/shepherd pie) priced q reasonably <$10

Overall, this cafe has really good vibes, good food and wont break your bank 😋 Definitely worth a try!!
