For fans of thrifting, Japan is really a thrifting haven for you. There are multiple well known thrifting chains all throughout Japan, not to mention smaller local brands which offer good options for cheap.

Here are some Thrift Shops or Chains with different prices ranges that you can check out in Japan:

1️⃣ 2nd Street:

Quintessential thrifting place in Japan, it is one of the most popular thrifting chains in Japan with a lot of outlets all over Japan (prolly like hundreds of them). There are a lot of options of clothing to choose from and their stuff are also curated and there are areas where some of it is on sale for only a few dollars.

2️⃣ Mode Off:

This chain gives off the 2nd Street vibe and their pieces can got for as low as $4 and there are some hidden gems in it.

3️⃣ Gaslamp Square:

They have well curated stuff with average prices, probably need to dig for pieces that you like that fits your vibe to justify the prices. They do have a variety of coats and suits here though.

4️⃣ Trefacstyle:

There is a wide selection here with different kinds of clothing, so you have got more options to choose from. The clothing are all in very good condition and very well organised.

5️⃣ Bazzstore:

There are cheaper range of clothes here and it is curated as well, there is even got a low price section for you to get some hidden loots and if you’d like there are high end fashion items as well.

6️⃣ Koenji Pal Shopping Street:

This street is literally an entire street of thrift shops with lesser known brands, there are alot of choices for you here and you can literally shop till you drop.

7️⃣ Big Time Koenji:

They have more rustic styles of clothing and decor and it is definitely on the higher price range here although they do have a thicker clothes selection. The vibes here are more towards those army and vintage kind, it’s easier to find what you want because the clothing is all colour coded here.

8️⃣ Slut Vintage:

They have discounted items up front which is good and the stuff are not too overly pricey and they got a good selection of stuff

9️⃣ Wego:

Their used and vintage section also quite extensive with different stuff although it is maybe not that cheap, but definitely in good condition, well ordered and categorised. They even have racks on the outside of the stores with items going as low as 500 yen. There are also floors with their own brand of clothing, accessories, shoes etc that you can buy new.

These are just some of the thrifting options I visited that Japan has to offer, be sure to check them out and more!
