My Current Bible Study Routine✝️

1️⃣ Open in prayer - I ask God to open my heart to what He has to say to me today. 🤲🏼🙏🏼

2️⃣ Daily Devotional - I am currently using New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp. It has a one page devotional for each day of the year with Scripture for further reading. 📖📚

3️⃣ Poetry - My Heart Cries Out by Paul David Tripp has a short poem with Scripture and reflection questions that help me assess my walk daily and grow my affections for God. 📖📚

4️⃣ Journal/Prayer - I respond to the reflection questions, write down the Scriptures, and write out my prayers. 📓✍🏼

This is what works for me right now. I also enjoy doing inductive studies for a deeper dive into different books of the Bible. How do you feel close to the Lord? ☀️
