College Cooking

This is what I’ve learned after being in apartment living recently.

I’ve learned not to:

🤍spend my money on ramen and eat unhealthily just because I’m another broke college student

🤍give out food for free

🤍over buy on ingredients

🤍go to a store without a plan

🤍let my food go bad

While I’ve learned:

🤍meal prep to save time

🤍spreadsheet my spending vs paycheck income

🤍create a weekly budget

🤍plan my meals a week in advance

🤍my health and wellness is fully dependent on me now

🤍learn from my family how to make my cultural dishes so I’m not punishing myself from eating foods I really want

Reminder:

⭐️We all get burnt out from school and life in general. It’s completely normal to feel unmotivated and tired along with having no time. Going to a dining hall or out to eat is perfectly fine and make sure to take healthy breaks during these periods ⭐️
