🩰 after doing pilates for awhile, ive found my essentials to make my pilates classes fun and comfortable! ive included links too!
i bring this to all my classes esp bc i dont bring my own mat! i find the mats provided in classes to be a bit icky bc everyone sweats and lie on it. even tho the studios make an effort to keep everything sanitised and clean, i still get a bit icky about it. the towel lays nicely on the mat esp if u spray some water on the mat. its so much more comfortable laying on the towel knowing that its clean. some poses requires laying on the mat face down and i strain my neck sometimes bc i dont want to put my face on the mat, so w this towel, i dont hurt myself!
rubber socks is a must must have for pilates! especially if ure using the reformer, u must get these socks. the little rubber dots below helps to stabilise and not slip off! i bought mine from shoppe! i think its super cheap compared to those in decathlon.
the apple watch is not a must have but i find it very useful. it gives me a lot of insights about the exercise im doing and how it affects my body. measuring my heart rate and calories during exercising gives me a good indication if i can level up!
i got my silk scrunchies from wee bands. its 100% pure mulberry silk. it ties my hair very comfortably and it doesnt get tangled w my hair. when i remove the scrunchie, it doesnt rip any of my hair out.
🤍 w these products, i enjoy pilates a lot and i feel more put together. if i forget to bring any of these items to a class, ill definitely run home to get it before the class.
