🍚pao fan (泡饭): rice submerged in broth!

🌸good food doesnt have to look aesthetically pleasing and be expensive!

my mother introduced me to this store in the basement food court! it was my first time having pao fan🍚.

💐this pao fan was really good, its submerged in prawn 🦐 soup! the soup was decedent and very smooth!

🌷 i ordered prawn paste ball pao fan ($9.90)!

this dish came with crispy rice that you pour over the soup to give it a variety of texture in every bite! they were extremely generous with the prawn paste ball and lala (clams)!

🦐 the prawn paste ball was so so good! it was bouncy and had a good bite to it! the prawns werent overly mushed, you could still see chunks of prawns in the balls! there’s also tokibo bites in the prawn balls. i was really really impressed! i think its a lot better than hdl’s prawn paste- and thats saying a lot!

😋 they are able to switch the rice to noodles which is great for those who dont like the idea of rice in soup! i have yet to try their noodles but i think itll be good!

📍they have another outlet in westgate b1 food republic!

🌈 i think its great that we have good and cheap options in town! especially if youre doing a lot of shopping 🛍️ and wanna save on food or if you work around taka!
