Travel hack: how to find affordable accommodations

Pick a third-party booking website to find several accommodations that you like in your destination.

Next, check out the websites of each hotel that you picked. By doing that, you might find a special promotion on their website, a discount code or even a cheaper room category that is not offered on that third-party booking website.

This simple hack helped me often to either get a better deal for my preferred accommodation or I was able to book a room category that was only offered on the hotel‘s website!
