Trader Joe’s Dinner Idea

My #dinnerideas #lemon8challenge is a Panda Express style dinner straight from #traderjoes! In the frozen section TJ’s carries a honey walnut shrimp which is FANTASTIC and so quick to make. All I had to do was empty the contents into 1/4 cup of oil (I used avocado oil because it has a higher smoke point) and cook the shrimp for 7 minutes. The sauce bag took 30 seconds to microwave and it had the candied walnuts in a bag included.

The fried rice was super easy too. I don’t like buying frozen fried rice so I made it myself. I defrosted some mixed veggies from target, sautéed them in butter for 5 minutes, then made a circle in the middle and cracked two eggs in and scrambled it. I made rice before I started this and added it with some more butter and soy sauce, salt and pepper, and it made a fantastic birthday dinner for my fiancé and I!
